GHS FUN WALK & RUN
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Entry Conditions
1. The GHS Fun Walk and Run 2018 (“the Event”) is organised for students, alumni, staff members and the GHS community. Friends of GHS are required to provide the name and contact of the current/ past student or staff member they are related to. The Event organisers reserve the right to verify the information provided by these participants in case they win any of the prizes of the Event.

Race results will be determined by the official time recorded by the timing chip.

2. The Event organisers reserve the right to cancel a category award in case the number of participants or teams in that category is less than 3.

It is recommended that participants should prepare and be trained for this Event. They should consult a doctor for a body check-up if they have not exercised for some time. If participants have any health concerns, the Event organisers strongly advise them to seek medical advice before participating in this event.

Safety
For safety reasons, no entries are permissible on bikes, on roller skates, with dogs or using any kind of mechanical aid.

Race/ Bib Numbers
Race entries are not interchangeable. Entries cannot be assigned, transferred or sold to any third party and this is therefore strictly prohibited.

Event Cancellation
In case the Event is cancelled, the non-refundable enrolment fees will be donated to the InterMission: Delia’s Wing Revitalised project. The Event organisers will make every attempt to provide an alternative race date.

Concerns
1. The Event organisers have taken every step possible to ensure that the Event is fun, safe and enjoyable. The race has been organised by and with the help of volunteers and students of the School to raise money for the InterMission: Delia’s Wing Revitalised project. We hope you will take the Event in the spirit in which it is intended. If, however, you have any cause for concern, please direct it to the Event Organisers at the reception area where a formal written document will be recorded.

2. The Event organisers reserve the right to update the terms and conditions of the Event at any time. Changes will be announced via the GHS and GHSAC websites.
