THE REVITALISATION OF THE NEW DELIA'S WING WILL BE COMPLETED AND READY FOR USE IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2020/2021.

Besides transforming Delia’s Wing to an arts and cultural hub, the revitalisation reflects the ethos we place on sustainability and environmental protection, by reducing energy consumption, conserving what we use, and reusing whenever possible.

The new Delia's Wing will be triple in size to offer more space for students learning curriculum and activities.

GRAND

AUDITORIUM

With the capacity of more than 1,400 seats, our signature facility can house the entire Secondary School community for our students to enjoy stage performance and showcase their talents from the choir, orchestra, band and drama groups. It will also be an ideal venue to host international and local festivals, competitions, conferences and seminars, connecting the community and beyond.

MULTI-PURPOSE

HALL

Equipped with portable audience seating and special air conditioning for better airflow, this 9-meter high facility can be transformed into a professional standard basketball, volleyball or badminton courts for training and competitions. It can host up to 1,400 seats for school assemblies, events, and public examinations.

LECTURE

HALL

With a capacity of more than 270 seats, the Lecture Hall is an integrated space for presentations, debates, choral speaking and guest talk sessions for students to familiarise university-style learning.

MUSIC / CHOIR PRACTICE ROOM,

REHEARSAL HALL & CLASSROOM

This 2,412-square-feet Music Rehearsal Hall offers spacious environment to house the choir, Chinese, string and symphonic orchestras as well as the bands to practise for performances and competitions. It also features a music equipment storage room to reduce students' time and efforts in moving their instruments around the campus. The individual music practise rooms are equipped with sound-proof materials which allow students to work on exam pieces or small ensemble pieces in small groups. The Music Classroom is equipped with computers and musical software in additional to a standard music classroom setting, which allows students to enhance their composing and music editing skills.

DRAMA REHEARSAL HALL &

DANCE STUDIO

Equipped with a floor-to-ceiling wall mirror and a dressing room with makeup tables and lighting, the facility will provide a holistic rehearsal experience for students. The school currently offers English drama education as part of the English curriculum for junior secondary students. This additional space will provide more learning opportunities for them.

INNOVATION, MMLC ROOMS &

VISUAL ARTS ROOMS

These functional rooms on the sixth floor are equipped with 3D printing and technical systems, a high efficient kiln and water heating recycling capability, a large laser cutter and graphic design tools. With an interactive teaching and learning setting, students will have the privilege to be supported with the latest technology to unleash their creative and innovative minds.

CAMPUS TV &

DIGITAL MUSIC ROOM

Equipped with professional audio and music recording, video editing and post-production tools, more students will learn and operate these equipment, unleash their potential and creativity to broadcast the latest happenings at school.

ANCILLARY MULTI-FUNCITON

ROOM

Up to 5,000 square feet accommodating 80 students, the dormitory features a pantry, a common area and secure access to provide students with global exchange and local boarding experiences to enhance their leadership capacities and collaboration skills.

MULTI-FUNCTION FITNESS SPACE

Good Hope sports teams and athletics team can make good use of the training equipment to prepare themselves for competitions and uplift their performance.

CARPARK

The underground car park, located in the slope between the primary and secondary school campuses, will provide a safe school environment for all.

ROOF-TOP

GARDEN

The garden includes an automatic irrigation and drainage system to reduce water loss through evaporation and reduce water loss. Students will learn about sustainable development and carry out all kinds of experiments.

HERITAGE ROOM &

BARISTA SERVERY

The Heritage Room pays tribute to the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (MIC) via a multi-media space. Students and guests can better understand the history of Good Hope and MIC through the interactive experience. The barista servery will be equipped with industrial appliances and will be operated by students to gain first-hand insights of running a business.
